Our Story - Mission and Values

If you’re seeking professional, compassionate caregivers for your loved ones, rest assured, we can relate.

Brooke and Andrew Winfrey founded Redeemed In-Home Care in July 2017 in response to their own family members’ needs. God blessed them with the skills and resources to source quality caregivers, so they in turn can minister to your loved ones with the caliber of care they deserve.

Redeemed In-Home Care is truly our family caring for yours. This is our story.

Brooke’s grandfather became ill in 2013. After multiple stents in rehabilitation facilities and a nursing facility, the Winfrey’s discovered that his long-term care insurance provided for in-home care.

This seemed to be the ideal solution. In-home care would enable their grandparents to live safely and independently at-home but with the added benefits of needed medical care, help with daily living tasks and social support.

Unfortunately, at that time, finding professional, compassionate caregivers proved to be a challenge. Most caregivers had no medical training, and they lacked any background check or drug testing. The Winfrey’s grandparent’s health suffered under sub-par care, and they lacked the peace of mind that comes with the assurance of their loved ones being well cared for.

They used this challenge as an opportunity!

Brooke, whose professional background was in staffing and recruiting, realized that she was uniquely positioned to see both the needs of those hiring home health care providers and the families who needed care for their loved ones.

“I set out on a mission to find quality individuals to provide care, who would provide my loved ones, and yours, with safety and comfort in their own home,” she says.

Today, Redeemed In-Home Care has grown steadily via word-of-mouth referrals and employs an extensive team of professional caregivers who provide the kind of care that Brooke expects for her own grandparents, who are still living in their own home, to receive.

“They love every single one of their caregivers,” she says. “They’re treated like one of the family. From a granddaughter’s perspective, having my grandparents able to come over on a holiday just to visit with them, and not be their caregiver, is a blessing.”

Every professional caregiver hired by Redeemed In-Home Care has had a background check and a drug screening. Caregivers with professional backgrounds as registered nurses, certified medical assistants and licensed practical nurses ensure that clients receive excellent care.

Redeemed In-Home Care caregivers offer multiple levels of care, from companionship and personal help to specialized medical assistance. Care is tailored to the individual and carefully communicated to family members every step of the way.
